FUNDRAISER FOR ANGELITA VARGAS 14-12-2011

The artist Vanesco in colaboration with Asoc. Phure Manoucha has initiated a fundraiser in order to support Angelita Vargas during her rehabilitation process, after suffering from a stroke in June earlier this year. Vanesco has contacted various artists; including well known international artists, asking that they donate works of theirs in order to sell them on the internet to raise money.

Each one of their drawings/photographs (original and limited versions) you can purchase for € 330. Once the money has been debited, the product will be sent to the buyer free of charge via post. The total amount of funds raised are to help Angelita Vargas pay for her urgent necessary day to day living expenses.

Join flamenco artists and aficionados in a juerga in honor of the great gypsy flamenco dancer Angelita Vargas! Wednesday, from 8:30 p.m. on. In the space (which is Alegrias, on Saturdays) above La Nacional, 239 W. 14th St, New York, USA. Angelita Vargas suffered a stroke earlier this year. Donations will be used for her physical therapy, in Spain.

Maki Yokota 13-10-2011 - 3rd Fundraiser Japan
"I would like to inform you about the 3rd fundraiser in Japan for Angelita Vargas' rehabilitation."
We have cleared and confirmed the third bank transfer from the 3rd fund raiser campaign in Japan for Angelita Vargas' rehabilitation costs. The total quantity is 5404.97 euros and means that the total donation (adding together all three donations from Japan) now comes to the total of 13554.76 euros

I won't get tired of repeating how grateful I am for Japan's outstanding generosity, the great response we've had from are good Japanese friends, despite the fact the Japan is going through an extremeley difficult time at the moment.

I hope this has helped towards Angelita's complete rehabilitation period needed at Brain Damage Rehabilitation Centre at the hospital Nisa. Japan's official fundraiser date has officially closed, but we are leaving the option to donate until the end of the year. Thank you.

A lottery will take place to win studio practice time and the money will go to Angelita Vargas to help with her rehabilitation expenses. Angelita worked with 'Flamenco de Sur a Sur & el Estudio Tu punto flamenco in Seville ' for a long time. We wish to keep supporting her so that she can join us again soon. Maki Yokota 09-09-2011 - 2nd Fundraiser Japan
We can confirm that the 2nd bank transfer from the 2nd Fundraiser from Japan has been debited for the rehabilitation of Angelita Vargas. The total raised was 3976 euros and 15 cent. I would like to thank again all the Japanese donars who have supported this cause 'The Rehabilitation of Angelita Vargas' despite Japan's diffcult circumstances at the moment. I hope that this helps towards the complete rehabilitation period needed for Angelita's initial recovery, thank you, Maki.

On the 1st August we transferred the money raised from the 1st Fundraiser from Japan for the rehabilitation of Angelita Vargas. I would like to give a big thanks to all the Japanese lovers with their big hearts to how much they have responded to this cause, despite the very difficult circumstances they are going through at present. The money will be debited into the 'Amigos de Angelita Vargas a favor de su rehabilitación' within a week. I hope this helps towards the rehabilitation of Angelita Vargas. Thank You.
